Barry is the founding partner of Brownlow Partners, Chartered Accountants. He supports entrepreneurial clients with ownership and management succession advice.
Barry is chair of the Board for the Bay Area Health Trust. He is also a member of the board, treasurer and chair of the audit committee for the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Community Care Access Centre.
Barry has served on the following committees and boards: as a member of the business advisory council for the Michael G. DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University; director of the Ontario Hospital Association; director of Hamilton Health Sciences and The Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce; member of the Customer Needs and New Product Lines Sub-Committees of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Special Committee on Assurance Services and advisor to The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' Task Force on Assurance Services.

Barry graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science and obtained his C.A. in 1976. He founded Brownlow Partners in 1980.
