Barry is the founding partner of Brownlow Partners, Chartered Accountants. He supports entrepreneurial clients with ownership and management succession advice.
Barry is a member of the business advisory council for the Michael G. DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, a director and chair of the audit committee for the Ontario Hospital Association and vice chair of the board, chair of the audit and finance committees for the Bay Area Health Trust. Barry is a past director of Hamilton Health Sciences and The Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce.
Barry was a member of the Customer Needs and New Product Lines Sub-Committees of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Special Committee on Assurance Services. He also was an advisor to The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' Task Force on Assurance Services.

Barry graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science and obtained his C.A. in 1976. He founded Brownlow Partners in 1980.
