 Barry
is the founding partner of Brownlow & Associates Chartered Accountants.
The twenty person firm is located in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada.
Barry
provides business-building insight, strategic planning, succession
and mergers and acquisitions advice, and support to entrepreneurial
clients and to professional service firms.
Barry is currently Vice Chair of the board, member of the audit committee and chair of the governance committee for Hamilton Health Sciences. Barry is also a member of the business advisory council for the Michael G. DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, a director and chair of the audit committee for the Ontario Hospital Association and a past director of The Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce.
Barry sat on the Customer Needs and New Product Lines Sub-Committees of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Special Committee on Assurance Services. He also sat as an advisor to The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Task Force on Assurance Services.

Barry graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science and obtained his C.A. in 1976. He started his own firm in 1980.
